What
is the Blackbird ? Blackbird is actually a kind of
an alter-ego.
The
name I've found by the biography and a song of my great
idol Paul McCartney, whose name was Blackbird and which I've
been reading several times, mainly in my 19. Everytime I've
been feeling better as a member of a band. Ever since the
time, when in my 10, I saw "A Hard Day´s Night"
movie with the Beatles, The Highlander with a great music
by Queen, etc I took an advice of my friend to find
something to identify with, so it was easy - Blackbird.
Blackbird
isn't actually a name
of the band, but a sign, which symbolizes my nationality to
certain music roots, which have been mainly Paul McCartney,
Bryan Adams, U2, Bon Jovi, Queen, The Beatles, etc.
Blackbird is actually an alter ego symbolizing my basic
nature and my music roots by which I have grown up.

& Blackbirds - Formerly the band was named the
Blackbird. But it has always been the accompany band, than
the band in the right meaning. More like the Bryan Adams' band. But I
didn't want my
colleagues to feel like an accompany band. So I had
to put it together somehow. But Blackbird - meaning one
person - was my alter-ego. So when it was written like JV & Blackbird,
it didn't make any sense. So I renamed it as JV & Blackbirds, which is
ok.
